the weekends and I look forward to Saturday night when the pretender comes on. I espcially like Micheal T. Weiss because not only is he gorgous and single but fun to watch as everything is anew in his chacater, Jarod. I though this season's final show was superb & full of suprises. I was thrilled when Jarob finnally found his father & was the senes they did together were touching. I look forward to next season & every season after that. I hope Jarod will be around for a long time to come. |

| Comments: | I've got to admit I'm a little obbssesed with the Pretender,
I can't miss a show. I think all the characters are great in the fact that they are all human. They have their good sides and bad sides. Plus the show has done a great job with expanding the characters and making them more real, espessially Miss Parker. The characters are very well played and Micheal T. Weiss is HOT! I am thrilled the Pretender was reknewed for the next season. Does anyone agree that the season finale was great? I love the episode's were Miss Parker and Jarod are together.(neat site!) |

| Comments: | Hi Brak. Cool to make a Pretender-page. I don´t know what
to think about Miss Parker. It´s a Love/Hate-feeling I have for her. I hate her because she´s after Jarod (Who by the way is my favorit - afterall how can you not love a HUNK like Michael T.Weiss?? Well I can´t help myself!!), but I admire her too, for her persistence in trying to catch Jerod, and somehow also for beeing to bitchy - it´s a great way of not getting hurt (if you don´t mind hurting others on your way!!) Another great caracter is Broots, he´s realy developed over the last few episodes, and he´s a great father, and that is important. Sidney I can´t figure out, ´cause he seems to love Jarod like a father, but why doesn´t he help him more than he does, if he really does love him??? Well, gotta end this short-story, before it becomes a novel. But I´ve just got one more thing to say, I LOVE YOU MTW - KEEP PRETENDING!! P.S Great site you´ve made here!! writing from Germany..... Still have to wait a couple of month before the second season of PRETENDER is shown here , but I cant wait!!! Of course I fell in love with Jarod. You should have seen my face first time I saw Jarod/Michael T. Weiss. My jaws literally hit the floor. It was amazing. Before PRETENDER was shown here, I saw JEFFREY two times and there I thougt not much abaout Michael. Something like " uuh, eh.. nice.....?" or "Not bad" or "Tosterone on legs?". I wasn´t much impressed. That, at least, has changed. |

got a new do (as in hairdo)! Love it! I'm not sure if I like the two new characters, although the scene between the blonde and Broots was cute. And like I said before--in a previous signing here: I think Jarod's brother, Kyle, is alive. I think he's the one who shot Rains. (But why hasn't he made an appearance yet? anyone if I try hard enough. This show leds me to a path where I shall study hard and not afraid of learning new stuff from anyone. Remember that there is always someone who is watching over you. | Comments: | Brak! Glad to find a Pretender Forum. (Love the Profiler
Forum.) Michael T. Weiss is the best!!! He was super in the new Dark Shadows and outstanding in Jeffrey. I am a MAJOR fan who would have watched the show no matter what. At first I thought the show's plot each week was going to be about catching a bad guy. Since the show has become more episodic (My wish from the beginning), it has only gotten better and better! I love all the characters. Jarod is of course my favorite but I find Miss Parker charming: I get a kick out of her (...and often a tear too: When she told Broots that she did respect him!); Sydney's very warm and trustworthy (You can tell he loves Jarod like a son), and Broots has become much more than a secondary character: I really root for him; he's the underdog of the group with brains and a heart. I also liked Jarod's brother...and was hoping he'd stick around so they could explore that relationship (Who knows; maybe he's not dead. One can hope, right?)... Anyway thanks for setting up this forum. I'll check back regularly. Keep Pretending! P.S. I think Miss Parker's tough facade is meant to hide her vulnerability. She's always trying to please her father to gain his admiration; yet he obviously has never shown her any outward signs of love/attention. The result? She acts the way she believes her father would have her act, like she is a strong independent woman, like she doesn't need any love/attention. And while she has become what she professes to be, there is more to the woman. She is vulnerable. She DOES care what people think of her, particularly her father, but also Jarod, Sydney and Broots. Her apparent strength serves as a defensive mechanism, so she won't get hurt. ...Like she was hurt when her mother died. Pure pop psych, right? Anyway. She's still loveable because of the beams of light, the humanity, that appear through chinks in her armor. And I'll end with an apology: Sorry so long! |

| Comments: | I think Miss Parker as "issues" that she's going to have to address in some detail before I can even begin to "like" her. Everything seems to be an excuse for confrontation, argument, and one-up-manship with her, and the writers of the series haven't really explained why she's so hostile to everyone. I really like the complexities of ALL of the characters on this series, especially Jarod, and I hope the writers will continue to entertain us and make us think. |

| Comments: | HI, My name is Brak. Actually its Matt, but I go by Brak on the net. Anyway, I figured that since I'll be hosting this thing, then I should tell you all who I am. I'm a 19-year-old from New Jersey. I'm a Nursing major. And my favorite shows are The Pretender (Of course) Profiler, and Babylon 5. In order to get the ball rolling I'll offer up the first topic of discussion. "Do you like Miss Parker, and why?" I thought of this, because my mom says that Miss Parker is indefensable and that its impossible to like her. But I disagree. I love Miss Parker. In fact, she's my favorite character on the show. I like her because she's really a good person at heart. She just doesn't show it enough. Sure she can be bitchy and downright cruel, but she has a conscience and she even uses it sometimes. |
